As leaders in the seed industry, Canada's seed growers are a
key source of information about the rapid changes in
biotechnology and genetically engineered crops.
It is inevitable that an industry hungry for answers will
have expectations of seed growers. While it is clearly
impossible for growers to be completely informed on all
aspects of biotechnology, there is little doubt, given their
role as interpreters in the past, growers must be prepared
for questions.
