Membership and crop inspection fees must be submitted with the Application for Crop Inspection and Membership by cheque payable to the Canadian Seed Growers’ Association.  Please refer to the current year fee worksheet for applicable fees.

The application is sent to: CSGA, P.O. Box 8455, Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 3T1, by the following deadline dates:

April 25 - Winter canola/rapeseed
May 25  - Fall seeded cereals
June 10 - Forages, flax, canola, mustard, corn and field peas
June 20 - All other crops
July 10  - Field beans, buckwheat and soybeans

• Form 101 – Land Use Verification: Prior to Planting 
  If you are uncertain of the eligibility of land for pedigreed seed crop production, then this form may be completed and submitted to the CSGA office prior to planting. CSGA will review the land use plan and send you confirmation on whether your Plan meets CSGA’s requirements. 
  
  
• Form 179 – Authorization to Assign a Crop Certificate Multi-Year Assignment
  This form may be used to assign Crop Certificates of perennial crops for more than one year at a time to another Grower or Seed Company.
  
  
• Form 179A – Authorization to Assign Crop Certificate
  This form may be used to assign Crop Certificates of annual crops OR to assign Crop Certificates of perennial crops for one year at a time to another Grower or Seed Company.
